New Cybersafety Initiatives in almost every state are asking parents to be hands-on in supervising their children’s online activities. ISPs like Comcast, make it possible for parents to print an daily log that will list where your child has gone on the Internet. Parents are listing “Internet Safety” as one of their top ten concerns for their children. How can we as consumers demand better controls for what kids see on the Internet? Avoiding ISPs that charge for parental controls is just one step. Also, researching how much your ISP does to protect minors online is another way to make sure that your high speed internet providers are doing everything they can to keep your kids safe.
